This workshop was organized as part of the BIFA Project “Small animals, big data: Mobilizing citizen science for data on the spiders of Asia” (BIFA6_029) by Nature Mates Nature Club and was attended by 15 members of the SpiderIndia community and all BIFA project participants.
Presentations on the BIFA project's goals and objectives, as well about GBIF were given during the meeting to promote awareness of both subjects. Identification, field investigations, and current research were among the subjects covered in the session.
Project curators were selected from a pool of candidates and during this workshop, project team members meet to discuss project work and implementation.
